Lauren Conrad, famed from MTV’s The Hills and ex-BFF feud with co-star Heidi Montag, has designed three accessories for contemporary/urban luxury brand, Linea Pelle.

LC’s collection, called “L: Lauren Conrad for Linea Pelle“, consists of a matching hobo/tote convertible bag, clutch and coin purse all in subdued, soft leather and adorned in sophisticated chains.

“I love the bag because it holds so much and the leather is super soft. It is available in 3 colors. There’s also a clutch and a coin purse,” Conrad boasted of her designs.

To me this is not even just another celebrity living my dream, because “stars” like she really annoy me. Youth, opportunity, no-talent-required, and to top it off; a careless regard for friendship. (I saw the beginnings of the fall-out on TV, which means I do, however, blame Heidi.) Now she brings a lack of talent to “designing” my own lust objects.

One doesn’t “love” her own design because of its size or leather she didn’t herself have any role in manufacturing. She should love it for, well, actual design: details, signature elements, etc.

On the other hand, the softness shines through in the photos, but the shape of that hobo bag mixed with the muted tones make me think: barf.

I’m a bit torn, take the tote option mixed with its ruched option (in brown) or the cute mini wallet and mix it with the girl who was opposed to Heidi’s badboy-boyfriend. Hmm.
